Rumala Sahib
Guru Granth Sahib is kept covered in silken cloths, known as Rumala, to protect from heat, dust, pollution etc. Guru Granth Sahib rests on a manji sahib under a rumala until brought out again.

Chandoa Sahib
A Chandoa Sahib of suitably silk embroided, velvet embroided or flowered zari material should always be placed over the Guru Granth Sahib ji just below the ceiling.
Designing of Chandoa Sahib is done with skilled workers using Hand Embroidery, Carving, Weaving, Stitching and other Craftsmanship with Zardogi and Precious Stones and Embellishments.
